The total area of the station is 385 ha: (agricultural land in owner occupation 323 ha + 252 ha leasehold property, ponds 17,5 ha, grasslands 12 ha, woodlots18 ha, other 18 ha). A significant part of the area is irrigated artificially. The station is named after Prof. Adam Skoczylas – an organizer and first director of the Institute of Sheep and Goats Breeding.
