In 2008 the XI National Carrot Day took place, during which 80 kinds and species of carrot from 12 seeds companies were presented. There was also a demonstration of machinery for tilth, sowing and harvest of the carrot. 630 guests attended the event.

This year the National XII Carrot Day will take place on 15 October 2010.
